Dr Brown completed her medical training at the University of the Free State in South Africa. Following this, Dr Brown took up a yearlong placement in Christchurch, New Zealand. She stayed in Christchurch for 10 years, during which time she trained as an Obstetrician Gynaecologist.
After moving to Australia in 2015, Dr Brown commenced subspecialty training in Urogynaecology. Having spent some time in Perth, she has now moved back to the Gold Coast to settle here permanently.

Dr Zanna Franks is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with an interest in female functional urology and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.
Dr Franks holds a specialist qualification from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and is currently undertaking further training in Urogynaecology (CU).
She graduated from Bond University Medical School in 2012 and has spent time training in Newcastle and locally at the Gold Coast. Dr Franks has spent 12 months working in Canada gaining experience in female functional urology. She has since returned home to the Gold Coast to settle with her family of 4.
Dr Franks is a highly trained and caring surgeon. She prides herself in providing holistic, patient centered care. She will support you throughout your journey seeking care for pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence. She can provide surgical procedures including minimally invasive, vaginal and mesh-alternative options.
Interests
Pelvic organ prolapse, birth injuries, urinary incontinence, bladder pain, pelvic pain, recurrent urinary tract infections, voiding disorders. Pelvic floor reconstructive surgery, urinary incontinence surgery and sacral neuromodulation.

Dr Zara Mason, who is a specialist women's health GP. grew up and trained in Medicine in New Zealand. She has been working in General Practice since 2007.
Dr Zara Mason, can offer first and second line treatment options for a number of urogynaecolgical conditions including:
- bladder pain syndrome,
- overactive bladder and
- recurrent urinary tract infections.
