Dr Brown completed her medical training at the University of the Free State in South Africa. Following this, Dr Brown took up a yearlong placement in Christchurch, New Zealand. She stayed in Christchurch for 10 years, during which time she trained as an Obstetrician Gynaecologist.
After moving to Australia in 2015, Dr Brown commenced subspecialty training in Urogynaecology. Having spent some time in Perth, she has now moved back to the Gold Coast to settle here permanently.

MBBS FRANZCOG
Dr Zanna Franks is a Gynaecologist with a special interest in female functional urology and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.
She is passionate about helping women manage pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, and complex gynaecological conditions with compassion and expertise. Dr Franks holds a specialist qualification from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG)
She graduated from Bond University Medical School in 2012 and has trained extensively in Newcastle and on the Gold Coast. Her experience includes a 12-month fellowship in Canada, where she focused on female functional urology.
Now based on the Gold Coast with her family of four, Dr Franks offers holistic, patient-centred care. She provides a range of surgical options including minimally invasive, vaginal, and mesh-alternative procedures tailored to each patient’s needs.
